We curate Fred Perry's most intrinsic designs and manufacture them here in England, where it all started. Revived in the same colours and fabrics as the original designs, we’re proud to support local factories and manufacturers whose meticulous care and expertise go into making each product just as it should be. Made in Somerset, England using vintage-style buttons from a UK supplier, our butoon-down shirt recreates a smart staple of the subcultural uniform. A symbol of the wearer’s clan, tartan signified the life of the gentry and the wearer’s long and noble heritage. It was adopted into streetwear in the ‘60s for very different reasons: a metaphorical two fingers to the establishment. Today, it still forms a key part of the subcultural uniform.
