Cotton-rich socks with an original Macleod Tartan design and our signature Laurel Wreath embroidery.
Cotton/poly blend / Original Scottish Macleod Tartan / Colour-block trims / Laurel Wreath embroidery
Originally worn as a symbol of the wearer’s clan, tartan used to signify the life of the gentry and the wearer’s long and noble heritage. It was adopted into streetwear a couple of centuries later for very different reasons: a metaphorical two fingers to the establishment. Instantly recognisable, look more closely and you find strands of tartan woven throughout key subcultures past and present – from the flared trousers of Bowie, to the grungy shirts of Cobain – its design is timeless. Our cotton-rich socks feature a traditional Macleod tartan design (pronounced Mcloud for those not from Scotland).
